Lakewood Brewing Company is located in Garland, Texas. This brewery is a must for Dallas beer lovers. A favorite of mine is their Lakewood Lager, which is known for adding new and old crafts to create a special blend. The light caramel taste is good for an everyday beer. The beer tour is free, and is hosted on Saturdays at 1, 3 and 5 pm, but is first come first serve. What’s better than dogs and beer…not much, and at Lakewood, both are present. The taproom is thoughtfully designed, with plenty of seating. You can bring your own food, and more times than not there is a food truck on the patio. Great way to relax with friends!

The beer garden here at Easy Tiger is open from 11 am – 2 am. This is a hot spot in Austin, Texas where you will enjoy divine food, and then start your night with delicious beers. Located on the South side of 6^th street, you are destined to have a great night. The wonderful array of comfort food and drinks emphasizes the downtown feel. With an outside patio you will hear the tasteful music that Austin, Texas is known for. Their Dogfish Head 90 Minute beer comes in at a whopping 9% alcohol content, but is without a doubt one of their top sellers.

Peticolas Brewery is what anyone would hope to experience with a brewery tour. The atmosphere is superb, and the workers are very knowledgeable. There is a $15.00 charge at the door, but you will soon realize it is worth every penny. A customized beer glass, and 3 large beers will turn any day into an enjoyable experience. While walking through the brewery you will see how the beers are brewed, dart boards, pool tables, and an amazing stocked bar. No matter what 3 beers you decide to drink, I guarantee, this brew tour will be positively remembered.

WOW! Sierra Nevada needs to be on YOUR bucket list. Mills River, North Carolina hosts one of the largest breweries in the United States. The beautiful tree line and enormous building set the stage for this remarkable experience. Sierra Nevada is a 5-star brewery that will exceed your expectations. A flourishing restaurant, gift shop, tour guides, and outside games are some of the few things that make this brewery unforgettable.  Sierra Nevada is the size of a shopping center, and everywhere you look, you become more in awe. Their famous Pale Ale resembles the Carolinas to a T. The pine and grapefruit flavor creates a fresh and citrus blend. I never wanted to leave, and nor will you.
